RAMI feature types

Feature type mapping between the OS MasterMap Highways Network – RAMI product and the OS NGD RAMI Collection.

This page includes feature type mappings from the OS MasterMap (OSMM) Highways Network – Routing and Asset Management Information (RAMI) product to the corresponding feature types found within the OS National Geographic Database (OS NGD) RAMI Collection. Each feature type has a sub-page containing detailed attribution mapping from OSMM Highways Network to OS NGD.

The following feature types are covered:

Hazard

The OSMM Highways Network Hazard Feature Type has a corresponding feature type in OS NGD called Routing Hazard, which is part of the RAMI Collection.

Highway Dedication

The OSMM Highways Network Highway Dedication Feature Type has a corresponding feature type in OS NGD, also called Highway Dedication, which is part of the RAMI Collection.

Maintenance

The OSMM Highways Network Maintenance Feature Type is a combination of area, line and point features, as well as features with no geometry. In OS NGD, all features have geometry and have been split into three separate feature types depending on their geometry type:

Reinstatement

Restrictions in OSMM Highways Network are made up of three feature types:

In OS NGD, these have been combined into a single feature type, Restriction, which is part of the RAMI Collection. There is attribution to identify which type of restriction it is.
