Planned maintenance

This page provides details of planned maintenance events for the OS APIs

API service status

Any live interruptions to the availability of the OS APIs will be documented on the Service Status Dashboard on the OS Data Hub. The dashboard is updated every 10 minutes and shows the status of OS APIs over the last 24 hours (i.e. available, degraded, or interrupted availability).

Impacted API

Planned maintenance will impact the OS Places API.

Duration

We have planned maintenance scheduled from Sunday 16 November through to Monday 24 November 2025, at the latest, for the OS Places API.

Impact to customers

For the duration of the planned maintenance period, the OS Places API will have all its daily updates suspended. Daily updates will resume from Tuesday 25 November 2025.

The OS Places API service will remain available throughout the planned maintenance period as there is no planned disruption to service availability.
