This page provides the details of known data issues in the OS Open Built Up Areas product. Once resolved, details of a known data issue will be held on the page until the next release of the product.

Live known data issues

There are known issues in the April 2026 release of the product where a small number of place names are incorrectly labelled as Welsh, for example, Overton (Wrexham) and Newborough (Newtown) are currently shown as Welsh when this is not correct.

We are actively working to resolve these issues for an interim release to then resupply.
