Highway Dedications may reference public rights of way but are not a definitive record of such. Every section of geometry supplied by a local highway authority will have a type of dedication associated, in line with the [Highways Act 1980](https://www.legislation.gov.uk/ukpga/1980/66/contents) and the [Countryside and Rights of Way Act 2000](https://www.legislation.gov.uk/ukpga/2000/37/contents), which determine the highway user access. --- # Agent Instructions This documentation is published with GitBook.
