This code list is used in association with the Description attribute which is present within the Polling District Feature Type. The code list describes the type of polling district (for example, English Polling District).

| ------------------------- | -------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- |
| English Polling District  | A geographical area created in England by the sub-division of a UK Parliamentary constituency for the purposes of a UK Parliamentary election, formed by the sub-division of an Electoral Ward or Division, and commonly the boundary of an individual Parish Council boundary, where these exist. |
| Scottish Polling District | A geographical area created in Scotland by the sub-division of a UK Parliamentary constituency for the purposes of a UK Parliamentary election, formed by the sub-division of an electoral Ward into two or more individual parts.                                                                 |
| Welsh Polling District    | A geographical area created in Wales by the sub-division of a UK Parliamentary constituency for the purposes of a UK Parliamentary election, formed by the sub-division of an Electoral Division, commonly the boundary of an individual Community boundary.                                       |
