This code list is used in association with the Waterbody Category attribute which is present within the Waterbody Catchment Feature Type. The code list describes whether the water feature represents a catchment for which the primary water body is a lake or a river.

| Label | Definition                                                 |
| ----- | ---------------------------------------------------------- |
| Lake  | A catchment within which the primary waterbody is a lake.  |
| River | A catchment within which the primary waterbody is a river. |
