# waterlandcovertieravalue

This code list is used in association with the OS Land Cover Tier A attribute which is present within the Water Feature Typ&#x65;*.* The code list provides a high-level description of water land cover, where known (for example, open vegetation in water).

| Label                    | Definition                                                                                  |
| ------------------------ | ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- |
| Open Vegetation In Water | Perennial plant cover, either of a wild or semi-permanent managed nature, growing in water. |
| Trees In Water           | Trees are generally not more than 30m apart, growing in water.                              |
| Water                    | Tidal or non-tidal water.                                                                   |
