This code list is used in association with the OS Land Cover Tier B attribute which is present within the Water Feature Typ&#x65;*.* The code list provides a detailed description of water land cover, where known (for example, reeds). Up to five distinct land cover types can be applied.

| Coniferous Trees               | An area of cone-bearing trees, for example, yews, pines, firs, larch and generally not more than 30m apart.                                                       |
| Inland Water                   | Bodies of water that are not significantly influenced by normal tidal action.                                                                                     |
| Inter Tidal                    | An area that is covered by water outside periods of low tide.                                                                                                     |
| Made Sealed                    | A manmade surface that consists of a solid material that is bonded (i.e. is not loose).                                                                           |
| Non-Coniferous Trees           | An area of trees that do not bear cones; these include Ash, Aspen, Birch, Horse Chestnut, Maple, Oak, Poplar, and Sycamore and generally not more than 30m apart. |
| Reeds                          | An area of tall, stiff, marsh or water grass of various kinds.                                                                                                    |
| Scattered Coniferous Trees     | An area of cone-bearing trees, for example, yews, pines, firs, larch and generally more than 30m apart.                                                           |
| Scattered Non-Coniferous Trees | An area of trees that do not bear cones; these include Ash, Aspen, Birch, Horse Chestnut, Maple, Oak, Poplar, and Sycamore and generally more than 30m apart.     |
| Solar Panels                   | Fixed rigid sheets supporting devices for converting the energy of the sun to electricity or heat.                                                                |
| Tidal Water                    | Bodies of water that are influenced by normal tidal action.                                                                                                       |
