API service status and OS NGD data issues

OS NGD live service disruption

There are no live service disruptions affecting OS NGD at this time.

OS NGD planned maintenance

Upcoming planned maintenance: Sunday 16 November–Monday 24 November 2025

Duration

We have planned maintenance scheduled from Sunday 16 November through to Monday 24 November 2025, at the latest, for the OS NGD Address Theme.

Impacted data

For the duration of the planned maintenance period, the following OS NGD Address collections will not have Local Authority address change updated daily:

• GB Address

• Islands Address

All feature types in these collections will be affected by the planned maintenance period.

Impacts to customers

All daily Change-Only Update (COU) orders will continue to be delivered and processed as usual. Files for the two affected collections may be smaller than usual or empty for the duration of the maintenance period.

Access to OS NGD services (including OS Select+Build and the OS NGD APIs) will remain uninterrupted, but data for the two affected collections will not reflect daily Local Authority address changes.
