Bus Lane Feature Type

Information about the Bus Lane Feature Type, including a description, use cases for the data, and key attribution.

The Bus Lane Feature Type can be found in the Transport Network Collection of the OS NGD Transport Theme. It provides line geometry depicting the approximate centreline of bus lanes. This tells you where bus lane infrastructure is located and gives you key information about Bus Lane features. Attribution provided for each Bus Lane feature also includes a description of the type of bus lane and whether it permits cycling.

Please note, the Bus Lane Feature Type is not a topologically structured routable network. Bus Lane features will be disconnected from one another, as is often the nature of bus lane infrastructure in the real world.
