A fixed structure typically constructed of stakes or similar used to catch fish.
Leat
A watercourse, normally manmade or heavily modified that conveys water for a specific purpose; such as power generation, industrial cooling, mineral processing, water supply or similar.
Lock
An enclosure in a canal or navigable river with a movable gate and sluices at either end. Designed to allow vessels to move between sections of canal or navigable river at different levels by filling or draining the enclosure.
