Ordnance Survey's GB Overview Maps product provides two overview maps of Great Britain at 1:5 000 000 scale.
The GB Overview Maps product is free to view, download and use for commercial, educational, and personal purposes.
The GB Overview Maps product was refreshed in January 2025 with a new look and closer affiliation with other contextual mapping products.
This product now includes shaded National Park areas in addition to cities and towns throughout England, Wales, and Scotland.

Two outline maps of Great Britain are available as free GeoTIFF downloads from the OS Data Hub. The file size for the zipped file containing both GeoTIFFs is 5.2MB.
The zipped file available through the OS Data Hub contains the following two files:
GB Overview: a high level map showing country boundaries, European country boundaries, major cities and national parks for England, Wales and Scotland.
GB Overview Plus: a more detailed map including additional cities and towns in England, Wales and Scotland as well as the major road networks connecting them.
