These data schema versions of the Building Feature Type have not been updated since 06/02/2026.
Impacts of this disruption
Daily changes are not being supplied for the impacted data schema versions of the Building Feature Type. This means any daily orders containing this feature type will be supplied as blank files until the outage is resolved.
When to expect the next update
We are working to resolve this as a priority and apologise for any inconvenience this may cause. A further update is expected Wednesday 18 February 2026.
OS NGD resolved service disruption
Resolved service disruption: 11/02/2026–17/02/2026
Impacted data
The recent service disruption that impacted the Water Features Collection has now been resolved. The following feature types affected by this outage had not been updated since 11/02/2026:
Inter Tidal Line Feature Type data schema v1.0
Tidal Boundary Continuous High Feature Type data schema v1.0
Tidal Boundary Continuous Low Feature Type data schema v1.0
Water Feature Type Feature Type data schema v1.0
Water Point Feature Type data schema v1.0
Impacts of this disruption
During the disruption, daily changes were not supplied for the impacted data schema versions of the aforementioned feature types. This means any daily orders containing these data schema versions were supplied as blank files.
Resolution update
We are pleased to inform you that the disruption has been resolved as of Tuesday 17 February 2026. Daily updates for the impacted data schema versions of the aforementioned feature types have resumed, and all future orders will be processed as expected.

OS NGD planned maintenance
Planned maintenance: 06/02/2026–12/02/2026 (notice updated on 13/02/2026)
Impacted data
The OS NGD planned maintenance period is now complete and normal service has resumed.
From Friday 06 February 2026 through to Thursday 12 February 2026, several OS NGD collections did not receive daily surveyed change updates due to planned maintenance. The affected collections were:

OS Land Features
OS Land Use Features
OS Structure Features
OS Transport Features
OS Water Features
Impacts to customers
Access to OS NGD services, including OS Select+Build and the OS NGD APIs remained uninterrupted.
All daily Change-Only Update (COU) orders continued to be delivered and processed during the maintenance window; however, files for the affected collections may have appeared smaller or empty during this period. Any orders containing both affected and unaffected collections continued to receive daily updates for the unaffected data.
Now that the maintenance period has ended, you may notice larger than normal COU files for the affected collections as the surveyed changes from the maintenance period are made available. All future orders will now be processed as normal.
During the maintenance period, OS delivered data improvements to the OS NGD. More information on these improvements can be found on the OS NGD Improvements page.
