Disruption description
Daily changes were not being supplied for the impacted feature types. This means any daily orders containing these features were supplied as blank files. These feature types have now been updated.
Impacts of this disruption
Daily changes have now been resumed.
Resolution update
We are pleased to inform you that the disruption has been resolved as of 27/01/2026. Daily updates for the impacted feature types have resumed, and all future orders will be processed as expected.
OS NGD planned maintenance
Planned maintenance starting: 06/02/2026
Impacted data
We have planned maintenance scheduled from Friday 06 February 2026 through to Tuesday 11 February 2026 at the latest for the OS NGD.
For the duration of the planned maintenance period, the following OS NGD collections will not have surveyed change updated daily. All the feature types in the following OS NGD collections will be affected by the planned maintenance period:

Land Features
Land Use Features
Structure Features
Transport Features
Water Features
Impacts to customers
All daily Change-Only Update (COU) orders will continue to be delivered and processed as usual. Files for the affected collections may be smaller or empty for the duration of the maintenance period. If your order includes both affected and unaffected collections, the unaffected collections will continue to receive daily updates.
Access to OS NGD services, including OS Select+Build and OS NGD APIs, will remain uninterrupted, but data for affected collections will not reflect daily surveyed changes. When the maintenance period ends, you may notice a larger COU file for the affected OS NGD collections as the surveyed change during the maintenance period is made available.
During the maintenance period, OS will be delivering data improvements to the OS NGD. More information on these improvements can be found on the OS NGD Improvements page.
Duration
The maintenance window for this update is expected to be 5 days. All services should resume by Tuesday 11 February 2026.
