Georeferencing, Land and Sea tiles

Land tiles – Zipped Esri shapefiles

Our land tiles complete land areas at each zoom level, as required. They define the spatial extents of each product, so you can apply a background colour of your choice to areas of the map that are not covered by Tidal Water.

Our free 5km x 5km sea tiles and supporting TIFF World Files are free to download and let you complete sea areas at each zoom level as required. These are the tiles used for OS VectorMap Local; they also work for this product.
