The is now available to view on the OS website (we've added a link to the roadmap to this site in the Resources section).
The roadmap has details of new Download product releases (for Premium and OpenData products) and upcoming OS National Geographic Database (OS NGD) releases, plus dates for planned product withdrawals as they reach their End of Life stage.
The OS MasterMap Water Network Layer product (also referred to as OS MasterMap Networks – Water Layer) will become End of Life on 31 March 2026. As of this date, Ordnance Survey will cease to maintain or publish updates, and access to the product will be removed from the OS Data Hub, OS Features API and OS Vector Tile API.
Further information and details about the recommended product migration pathway are available on the new .
Our in-depth guide on using coordinate systems with OS Mapping, , has been moved to our alongside other deep dives and tutorial content covering the application of OS data.
Please note that there will be no release of AddressBase Core on the 31 January 2024, due to the festive shutdown period. Releases on the 24/12/24 and 07/01/24 remain unaffected.

OS 3D Mesh is a stand-alone product providing a photorealistic three-dimensional representation of the surface of the Earth and any features sitting above it, such as buildings, roads, and vegetation. The 3D mesh provided by this product can be used to visualise an area (for example, for urban planning and citizen engagement) or for analytical tasks such as line-of-sight analysis for the telecommunications and security sectors. OS 3D Mesh is derived from aerial imagery captured as part of our national imagery capture programme.
In addition to the enhanced attribution, 54 new classification codes have been added to the product to give an overview of the type of networks that cross over and / or under bridges (for example, Footbridge Over Canal).
The new bridge interactions data will give Emergency Services the ability to better:
Pinpoint and verify the location of an incident
Analyse the trends and patterns of incidents to help identify risks and support incident planning
Provide situational awareness
Report on incidents
Dispatch and deploy to accurate locations
Perform quick and accurate gazetteer searches
Sample data for numerous products is available through the tool, including AddressBase Premium, OS MasterMap Topography Layer, OS Open Roads, OS Open Zoomstack, amongst others. Where the tool is available for a product, we've indicated this on the product's landing page on this site and included a link to the tool.
The OS MasterMap Highways Network With Speed Data product was withdrawn from use in March 2024. Documentation for the product has been removed from this site accordingly.
Bridge interactions data is now available in the product; the data provide enhanced attribution for Bridge features and identify interactions between any networks passing over (for example, a footbridge, an aqueduct) and / or under (for example, a canal) a bridge.
We've added links to the to this site. The tool lets you visualise product sample data online for three areas (Exeter, Newport and Inverness).
Average speeds and indicative speed limits are available to access directly from the . The replacement OS NGD datasets make it easy to analyse travel times and provide accurate insight for safety and infrastructure policy decisions. The OS NGD datasets are available under the Public Sector Geospatial Agreement (PSGA).
