Distance Calculation
As of the March 2023 release, the methodology used to calculate the distance of a feature to the road network has been improved to use the entire road network in OS MasterMap Highways Network. This now includes Unique Street Reference Numbers (USRNs) that are not included in AddressBase Core. This enhancement provides more accurate distances for features where their distance is calculated spatially to the nearest road USRN; such features have a USRN Match Indicator of 3.
Next release
The next release of Points of Interest is scheduled for June 2024.
