# addressclassificationsourcevalue

This code list is used in association with the Address Classification Source attribute within Site. It describes the derivation of the Address Classification recorded as `addressLandUse_classificationCode`, `addressLandUse_primaryDescription` and `addressLandUse_secondaryDescription`.

<table><thead><tr><th width="206">Label</th><th>Definition</th><th data-hidden></th></tr></thead><tbody><tr><td>Matched UPRN</td><td>The Address Classification has been taken from the OS NGD Address feature that has been matched to the Site and which has populated the Matched UPRN attribute.</td><td></td></tr><tr><td>Child Address</td><td>The Address Classification has been taken from OS NGD Address features that are lower in the Address Hierarchy than the OS NGD Address feature that has been matched to the Site and where the matched OS NGD Address feature does not contain a classification relevant to land use. For example, an Address with a classification of Parent Property may be matched to a Site; however, the children within that Site can provide the Land Use in terms to the Address classification scheme.</td><td></td></tr><tr><td>Multiple Addresses</td><td>The Address Classification has been taken from OS NGD Address features where no single OS NGD Address feature has been matched to a Site, but where there is sufficient uniformity in Classification of the OS NGD Address features to allow a land use to be assigned using Address Classification. The uniformity may only be achieved to Primary level, so in some instances, the Secondary classification will be null where the classifications differ below Primary level.</td><td></td></tr></tbody></table>
