This code list is used in association with the Primacy attribute which is present within the Water Link Feature Type. The code list is a value indicating the relative importance of the water network link within any larger watercourse it is part of.

| ----- | ----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- |
| 1     | The link represents the main flow in the network.                                                                                                                                   |
| 2     | The link represents secondary flow in the network. Also includes bodies of water that have no identifiable direction of flow, which can be identified with flowDirection='Unknown'. |
