# languagevalue

This code list is used in association with the Name 1 Language, Name 2 Language, Name 3 Language and Name 4 Language attributes which are present within multiple OS NGD feature types across various OS NGD themes. The code list describes the language type associated with a specific name.

| Label | Definition                                           |
| ----- | ---------------------------------------------------- |
| eng   | ISO 639-2 code for English language.                 |
| gla   | ISO 639-2 code for Gaelic; Scottish Gaelic language. |
| cym   | ISO 639-2 terminology code for Welsh language.       |
