This code list is used in association with the Description attribute which is present within the Site Feature Type. The code list describes the types of site features represented as polygons, such as a caravan site, university, or railway centre.
Please note, the ‘Description’ values for sites vary in their granularity. The level of detail is dependent on the size and nature of the site in question and the availability of additional information to determine its classification. This description is intended to give you the richest information we hold on what the site is when interpreting the data but it should not be used for analytical purposes.
