This code list is used in association with the Description attribute which is present within the Inter Tidal Line Feature Type. The code list describes whether the inter tidal line is an actively flowing watercourse or if it diverges into multiple courses and spreads into another environment.

| Spreads     | A place where a stream diverges into multiple courses, dissipating into marsh, sand, shingle or rough grassland across a wide area. |
| Watercourse | A body of water that is actively flowing, includes rivers and streams.                                                              |
